Examinations are taken to assess someone's capabilities. From school to college, college to university, then higher education or a job, there will be an exam, and whether you like it or not, you have to pass it to succeed. A person takes so many exams and after passing them, they get degrees. It would be a common notion that if you have passed many exams in your life, why would you be afraid of another exam when it comes to being selected for a job or getting admitted in a higher degree? I am curious to know a genuine reason why a student or scholar hesitates and raises questions, to the point that sometimes they even challenge the method of assessing their abilities through the conduct of an exam.
If I am a recruiter and there is fierce competition for a specific job, I would eventually conduct an exam for evaluation.
